Robust estimation‐based multipath detection for vector tracking loop

Multipath interference in cities has always been one of the main problems leading to abnormal positioning results a global navigation satellite system. Vector tracking is superior conventional scalar ability mitigating multipath interference. However, due special sharing structure, fault propagation which easily occurs vector loop leads false alarms normal signals during detection. To solve this problem, fault-tolerant algorithm based on robust estimation applied suppress propagation. Meanwhile, order improve detecting multiple short delayed signals, chi-square detection proposed be used before applying algorithm. By taking advantage characteristic that occurrence will cause significant deviation code phase errors, mean value errors as metric. Both simulation test and field experiment are carried out verify performance. Experimental show can effectively prevent problem positives signals. As result, not only detected more accurately, but also accurate solution obtained.
